Karabo Peter joins Jacaranda FM as sports presenter

South African broadcaster Karabo Peter has been appointed the new sports presenter on Jacaranda FM’s award‑winning afternoon drive programme, The Drive with Rob & Roz. She made her debut on Monday, 3 August 2026, taking over from former presenter Joe Mann and will co‑host the show with Rob Forbes and Rozanne McKenzie from 16:00 to 19:00.

Peter’s career began in community radio, followed by freelance work for YFM and a two‑year stint as sports anchor at VOW 88.1 FM. She has also contributed to SABC’s The Journos vodcast and writes for Good Things Guy. Jacaranda FM programme manager Ravi Naidoo said her appointment reflects the station’s commitment to nurturing emerging South African broadcasting talent.
