Karacabey begins official process for new shopping mall project

Karacabey Mayor Fatih Karabatı has announced the official commencement of a long-awaited shopping mall project in the Karacabey district. The development, planned for the Mecidiye neighborhood on the Karacabey-Bandırma road, will feature a multi-story complex covering approximately 20,000 square meters.

Through a protocol established with Kızılay, the project will also include the construction of a nursing home in exchange for the increase in land value. To ensure the development is architecturally significant, the municipality plans to hold an architectural competition involving renowned architects.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the second half of 2027, with an estimated completion timeframe of 1.5 to 2 years.
