Karachi child killed in water tanker collision

A child was killed in Karachi after a water tanker collided with a motorcycle near North Nazimabad Block N. The child was traveling with his father at the time of the accident.

Following the incident, local residents detained the driver and attempted to set the vehicle on fire. Police have since taken the tanker into custody and detained the driver.

The incident follows a separate legal action in the City Court, where a woman is seeking over Rs130 million in compensation from a water tanker owner and driver following a fatal accident involving her husband, Talha Zaheer, in March 2026.
