Karachi infrastructure projects enter final stages

Infrastructure upgrades in Karachi are entering their final stages, with the Sindh government projecting the completion of work on University Road within the next two months.

During the inauguration of the Mosamiyat Flyover, Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon noted that the flyover is a critical component of the Red Line Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project. The flyover is expected to open to public traffic shortly following the completion of remaining formalities.

Memon addressed previous project delays, attributing them to significant inflation and rising costs for the dollar, cement, and petrol. Despite these economic challenges, construction on the Red Line stations and other related infrastructure components is continuing rapidly to improve urban mobility in the region.
