Karachi Metropolitan Corporation begins Baldia Town road construction

The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) has launched construction on a new road in Baldia Town that will connect Degree College to 19-D Road. Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab stated that the project is intended to reduce commuting difficulties and improve transport links for the local population.

In addition to road infrastructure, the KMC is expanding urban green spaces. Construction of a new park at Masjid Hasanat Park in the Sohrab Goth area of Quetta Town is in its final stages and is expected to open to the public soon. The Mayor noted that these recreational facilities are designed to provide families and children with better local amenities.

Wahab emphasized that the KMC is committed to maintaining the pace of development across Karachi and has instructed departments to ensure all projects meet prescribed quality standards to provide tangible benefits to residents.
