Karachi police arrest motorcycle theft gang and thwart hijab‑clad bank robbery

Karachi police arrested two suspects, Qasim and Arslan, in North Karachi for stealing a family’s motorcycle. The suspects said the theft was carried out by a gang led by a man named Fizan, and that stolen motorcycles were taken to Chanrio Chowk where they were sold. They also reported stealing three mobile phones during the same operation.

In a separate incident in the Qaidabad district, two individuals wearing hijabs entered a bank armed with hammers. They assaulted a guard, broke a glass counter and attempted to seize cash, but fled when the alarm sounded. No money was taken and the case has been filed with the local police, which is now investigating the robbery attempt.
