Karachi police arrest two suspects in murder of Saudi Arabia returnee

Police in Karachi have arrested two suspects, including the cousin of 23-year-old Zain-ul-Abideen, in connection with his murder. Zain-ul-Abideen, a tailor who had recently returned to Pakistan from Saudi Arabia to visit his parents, went missing from the Steel Town area on October 14.

Following his disappearance, the victim's family reported receiving ransom demands of Rs700,000 from unidentified individuals. Despite the family attempting to meet the kidnappers' demands, no release was made. During the investigation, police recovered a severed human hand, which has been sent for DNA testing.

During interrogation, the victim's cousin, Faisal, allegedly confessed to the killing. The suspect claimed the murder was motivated by a dispute regarding an inappropriate video of a woman found on the victim's mobile phone. Authorities recovered the victim's body from a deserted location near Gulshan-e-Hadeed after the suspects identified the site.
