Karachi to host major one-window service center for NADRA and passport services

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has announced the establishment of a Grand Khidmat Markaz in Karachi. This facility, intended to be the largest of its kind under the federal Interior Ministry, will provide citizens with a one-window service for passports, national identity cards (CNIC), NADRA Direct, arms licenses, and NOCs.

Naqvi has requested a detailed master plan for the center within 10 days, emphasizing that the facility must meet modern requirements and citizen needs. He has also ordered the immediate completion of necessary administrative and technical measures to expedite the center's establishment.

Separately, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced a simplified procedure for citizens to recover Pak-ID account access. Users who forget their passwords can restore access by entering their ID card number and a registered email address to receive a One-Time Password (OTP).
