Karachi Truck Crash Near Jamali Bridge Kills Three

A speeding truck lost control while navigating a U‑turn near Jamali Bridge on Karachi's Super Highway and ran over a group of motorcyclists. Three riders – a 30‑year‑old nephew, his 50‑year‑old uncle and a 28‑year‑old friend – were killed after being taken to local hospitals.

The driver, identified as Shehbaz, son of Abdul Khaliq, was arrested at the scene and the vehicle seized by Karachi police. Authorities highlighted ongoing restrictions on heavy vehicles, noting that only those equipped with GPS trackers approved by traffic police are permitted to operate in the city.

Police investigations are continuing, with legal proceedings against the driver underway.
