Karadeniz Technical University students win TUSAŞ R&D award

Students from Karadeniz Technical University (KTÜ) have won first place in the LIFT UP Industry-Oriented Undergraduate Graduation Projects Program conducted by TUSAŞ. The winning project, titled “Potting Application Robot Design and Production,” was developed by Melike Erol, Merve Erol, and Eda Abdioğlu from the Department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering.

The project stood out as the top entry among 359 submissions. It focuses on addressing industrial needs by translating undergraduate engineering studies into practical applications. KTÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı noted that such successes demonstrate the productivity and application skills of students, highlighting the value of university-industry cooperation in transforming knowledge into tangible products.
