Karaman Hosts 8th International Turkish World Festival
Karaman, Turkey, staged the 8th International Turkish World Festival, a multi‑day cultural program featuring concerts, dance performances and exhibitions that run until 2 August.
MHP deputy Sadir Durmaz addressed the opening ceremony, praising the shared heritage of Turkic peoples and urging that “the bridges of the heart between the Turkish world are the guarantee of the future.” He relayed greetings from party leader Devlet Bahçeli.
Later, the municipality organized a public walk themed “Love of Turkish Language, Love of the Motherland.” Mayor Savaş Kalaycı and TÜRKSOY strategist Melik Özsöz laid a wreath at the Atatürk Monument before participants marched from the train station, accompanied by dance troupes from several countries.
