The Indian edition of the reality series The Traitors returns for a second season, hosted by filmmaker Karan Johar. The show will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 13 August 2026 and will feature 21 celebrity participants drawn from Bollywood, television, digital media, sports and business.

Among the confirmed contestants are actors Mallika Sherawat and Shweta Tiwari, chef Ranveer Brar, actress‑entrepreneur Parul Gulati, comedian‑influencer Munawar Faruqui, and cricketer Shubman Gill’s sister Shahneel Gill. The lineup also includes Rhea Chakraborty, Dalip Tahil, Krystle D’Souza, Soundous Moufakir, and many others. Filming took place at the historic Suryagarh Palace in Jaisalmer.

A controversy emerged before the launch when contestant Parul Gulati called fellow participant Rida Tharana a “fake friend,” prompting speculation about a past feud involving influencer Apoorva Mukhija. The series is produced by Dharmatic Entertainment in partnership with All3Media International and BBC Studios India Production.
