Karan Yadav appointed CEO of Indian Super League
The Indian Super League (ISL) has appointed Karan Yadav as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This appointment marks the first time the league will have a CEO under its newly implemented club-led League Office structure.
Yadav brings nearly twenty years of experience in sports, media, marketing, and commercial strategy. He previously served as the Chief Commercial Officer at JSW Sports, where he managed a P&L exceeding ₹300 crore. His background includes leadership roles at Wavemaker and ACKO, as well as co-founding the digital football publication TheHardTackle.com.
In his new role, Yadav will oversee the strategic, commercial, and organizational direction of the ISL. He is tasked with strengthening relationships with clubs, broadcasters, and sponsors, while working closely with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) to ensure the long-term growth and sustainability of the competition.
