Karangturi farmers seek better access to subsidized fertilizer

Farmers in Karangturi, Setrokalangan Village, Kudus, are reporting difficulties in accessing subsidized fertilizer. The shortage is particularly impactful for chili farmers, who require regular fertilization throughout the growing cycle.

Subroto, chairman of the Karono Tirto farmer group, noted that the current distribution points are too far away and the available quotas are often insufficient. This has forced many farmers to purchase non-subsidized fertilizer to meet their needs. To address these issues, local farmers have requested the establishment of subsidized fertilizer kiosks closer to the Karangturi area to improve accessibility and ensure prices remain within regulated limits.
