Karapınar hosts drug awareness seminar for mothers

The AK Party District Women's Branch organized the ‘Best Narcotic Police Mother’ seminar in the Karapınar district of Konya to raise awareness regarding drug use and addiction.

Attended by local officials, including District Police Chief Salih Erdem and District Director of National Education Hulusi Sonkaya, the program featured presentations from narcotics unit authorities. The seminar focused on the dangers of narcotic substances, methods for combating addiction, and the critical role of families in protecting children.

Participants were encouraged to monitor children's behaviors closely to identify potential risks early. The event emphasized the necessity of cooperation between families, educational institutions, and security forces to ensure a healthy future for youth and to increase social awareness regarding substance abuse.
