Karasoulos and Andreou to tour ‘Mikri Patrida’ song cycle

Lyricist Paraskevas Karasoulos and composer Giorgos Andreou are launching a series of musical performances across Greece and Cyprus to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their iconic song cycle, ‘Mikri Patrida’.

While the songs from this landmark collection have been reinterpreted by numerous Greek singers over the decades, this tour marks the first time the creators will present the entire cycle live as a unified work. The performances will feature Andreou on piano and Karasoulos providing narration.

The tour includes collaborations with established performers such as Mario Frankoulis, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, and Pantelis Theocharidis, alongside newer artists Korina Legaki and Apostolos Kitso. The Thessaloniki leg of the tour will feature the Thessaloniki Municipal Symphony Orchestra conducted by Anastasios Symeonidis.
