Karatay Culture Center completes first year of service

The Karatay Culture Center, established by the Karatay Municipality in the Çimenlik neighborhood, has completed its first year of operation. During this period, the facility has hosted wedding ceremonies for 2,335 couples.

Constructed with an investment of 250 million TL, the center spans 4,110 square meters. The facility includes two wedding halls of varying capacities—the 73-person Gül Salonu and the larger Lavanta Salonu—as well as the 400-capacity Karatay Liva Salon for engagements and weddings. Other amenities include exhibition areas, bride preparation rooms, and a 72-vehicle parking lot.

Officially opened on October 22, 2025, in the presence of Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, the center aims to support the institution of the family and enhance social life through various cultural and artistic events.
