Karatay Municipality concludes student football and dart tournaments

Karatay Municipality, in collaboration with the Karatay District Mufti, has concluded the Friendship and Brotherhood Football and Dart Tournaments. The events were organized to support the social, sporting, and personal development of students attending summer Quran courses.

The football tournament featured 58 teams and 754 athletes across the Minikler and Yıldızlar categories. The final matches were held at the Nihat Gün Sports Facilities, where winning teams were awarded trophies, medals, and cash prizes.

Additionally, a dart tournament for female students saw participation from 539 athletes representing 14 mosques and Quran courses. Following preliminary rounds, the top 32 competitors competed in the finals at the Nihat Gün Sports Facilities. Winners in the dart competition also received trophies, medals, and cash prizes during an award ceremony attended by local officials.
