Karatay Municipality develops 14 artificial turf pitches in Konya
Karatay Municipality is advancing sports infrastructure projects in the Karatay district of Konya. The municipality is currently working on a total of 14 artificial turf pitches to provide modern and safe sports areas for students and local residents.
As part of this initiative, eight new pitches are under construction. This includes three pitches measuring 25x40 meters and five pitches measuring 15x30 meters. These facilities are being built at various locations, including several high schools and the Necmettin Erbakan University Köyceğiz Campus.
In addition to new constructions, the municipality is renovating six existing artificial turf pitches. The project aims to ensure that all new and renovated facilities meet FIFA standards to enhance the quality of sports activities in the region.
