Karate training camps held in Wetzlar and Bischofsgrün

Various karate training camps and martial arts events took place in Germany during the summer of 2026.

In Wetzlar, approximately 40 participants from several dojos, including TuS Mosella Schweich, attended a Shorinji Budo Union (SBU) summer training camp led by Sensei Axel Roth. The program included Tai Chi Chuan, Kihon techniques, Kata, and Kobudo training with traditional weapons such as the Tambo, Bo, and Tonfa.

In Bischofsgrün, around 100 karateka from 13 different German dojos gathered for a Deutsche Kyokushinkai Organisation (DKO) summer camp. The intensive session featured six hours of full-contact training and allowed participants to engage in up to 50 fights. Members of the Oyama Karate Kai successfully passed their examinations during the event.
