Kardi Ai launches AI-powered cardiac monitoring in India

Czech HealthTech company Kardi Ai has officially entered the Indian market with the launch of its AI-powered long-term cardiac monitoring technology. The launch event took place in Hyderabad, attended by healthcare professionals, technology stakeholders, and government representatives.

The system utilizes a wearable ECG chest strap combined with mobile connectivity and artificial intelligence to monitor heart rhythms over extended periods. Unlike conventional ECGs, which provide a brief snapshot, or standard 24-hour Holter monitors, Kardi Ai is designed to allow patients to continue daily activities while providing continuous observation. This extended monitoring aims to capture intermittent cardiac rhythm abnormalities that often go undetected during shorter examinations.

According to company reports, the solution has demonstrated detection rates of up to 40 percent, compared to the 2 to 5 percent typically cited for conventional Holter monitoring. The technology is intended to assist physicians in reviewing recordings and identifying potential arrhythmias to help prevent heart strokes and improve patient outcomes.
