Karel Sedlacek wins first PDC title at Players Championship 30

Karel Sedlacek secured his first PDC title by defeating Scott Williams 8-7 in the final of Players Championship 30 in Den Bosch. With this victory, Sedlacek becomes the first player from the Czech Republic to win a PDC ranking title.

The final was a closely contested match. Sedlacek held a 7-5 lead but faced pressure after Williams fought back to level the score. Sedlacek eventually clinched the win in a deciding leg by hitting double 8.

Earlier in the tournament, Scott Williams reached the final after defeating Michael van Gerwen 6-2 and Jermaine Wattimena 7-4. Other notable players, including Mensur Suljovic and Danny Noppert, were eliminated in the early stages of the competition.
