Karim Adeyemi faces stalled Dortmund contract talks and hefty mystery‑box fine

Borussia Dortmund and forward Karim Adeyemi are at an impasse over a new contract. Adeyemi, whose deal runs until 2027, is seeking a salary rise to over €10 million annually and an exit clause, while the club considers a possible sale in the summer or keeping him for the final contract year.

Separately, Adeyemi was fined close to €500,000 after customs officials intercepted a "mystery box" he ordered online that contained a balaclava, a spring‑loaded knife and zip‑ties. He explained the items came from a hunting‑gear site and said the purchase was meant to protect his wife, rapper Loredana, who is frequently in the public eye.
