Karim Cassim completes transfer from Manchester City to Manchester United

Seventeen-year-old midfielder Karim Cassim has officially completed his transfer from Manchester City to Manchester United following ratification by the Premier League.

While Cassim had been training with United’s Under-18 squad and was present on the bench during a recent match against Charlton, he was unable to participate until the league approved the academy move. He is expected to join the youth team led by Darren Fletcher to continue his development.

This move is part of a broader recruitment strategy by Manchester United to acquire talent from leading academies, following the recent arrival of fellow City youngster David Eze. Although direct transfers between the two Manchester rivals are rare at the senior level, such movements are more common within academy structures.
