Karim López makes NBA preseason debut with Memphis Grizzlies

Karim López, the first Mexican-born player to be selected in the first round of the NBA Draft, has made his preseason debut with the Memphis Grizzlies. During a preseason matchup against the Atlanta Hawks, López recorded his first NBA points with a floating shot following a perimeter move.

In approximately eight minutes of play, the Hermosillo native contributed two points, two steals, one rebound, and one block. Beyond his scoring, López was noted for his defensive presence, including reading passing lanes and applying pressure to the Hawks' offense. The Grizzlies secured a 132-123 victory in the contest.
