Karimunjawa to host Mega Beach Trail Run in November 2026

The Central Java Provincial Government and the Jepara Regency Government are set to host the Mega Karimunjawa Beach Trail Run 2026. Scheduled for November 20–22, 2026, this second edition of the event aims to combine sports, marine tourism, adventure, and local culture.

Participants can choose between 7.5K and 18K categories, starting from the Karimunjawa Square. The routes will traverse various island landscapes, including tropical forests and coastal areas such as Tanjung Gelam Beach. The event is designed to promote Karimunjawa as a tourist destination and stimulate the local economy. As of early September 2026, 810 participants have already registered for the run.
