Karin Ann releases Orion EP and debuts as actress

Artist Karin Ann has released a new EP titled ‘Orion’, which serves as part of the official soundtrack for the upcoming psychological sci-fi thriller film of the same name. The film is scheduled for theatrical release this October following festival presentations.

In addition to contributing to the soundtrack, Karin Ann is making her acting debut in the film, playing the character Morgan. The movie features a cast including Andrew McCarthy, Drew Van Acker, and Debby Ryan. The plot follows a NASA interrogator assisting an astronaut with amnesia to reconstruct the events of an incident that resulted in the deaths of the rest of the crew.

The EP’s tracks are integrated into the film's narrative, exploring themes of identity, memory, and truth. One notable track, ‘born to be’, is intended to accompany the film's end credits.
