Karina Mazzocco reveals death threat that halted investigation

Argentine presenter Karina Mazzocco shared details regarding a severe death threat she received while hosting the program ‘A la tarde’ on América TV. During an appearance on ‘PH: Podemos Hablar’, Mazzocco described receiving an intimidating message accompanied by an image of an armed man, which included a direct threat against her life.

Following the incident, América TV implemented security protocols and filed a judicial complaint. Despite police intervention and the submission of evidence to authorities, the investigation failed to identify the individual responsible. Mazzocco explained that the situation led her to abandon the journalistic investigation she was pursuing, stating she was unwilling to compromise her personal safety or that of her family.

She noted that while the event eventually faded from the media spotlight, the emotional impact remains significant.
