Karina Mazzocco confirmed her departure from the Argentine talk‑show A la tarde on América TV after five seasons, describing the termination as a difficult moment. She said she was hurt by the way the decision was communicated, noting that "the television is a business but the way I was removed was not handled with delicacy."

During an appearance on Mirtha Legrand's La noche de Mirtha, Mazzocco addressed the controversy and accepted an apology from fellow presenter Mariana Fabbiani, calling the incident “an accident” and expressing gratitude for the gesture. She reflected on the personal time gained after the exit, emphasizing family and the importance of balance beyond work.

Mazzocco also highlighted the impact of the program, which she described as a “chapter” that marked the agenda and generated both successes and disputes, before concluding that the slot will now be free from May onward.
