Karine Le Marchand returns for season 21 of ‘L’amour est dans le pré’

The French reality television program ‘L’amour est dans le pré’ is returning for its 21st season on M6, beginning August 17, 2026. Host Karine Le Marchand will continue to lead the show, which features 14 farmers—ten men and four women—ranging in age from 24 to 64. The new season introduces a feature designed to make initial dates feel more natural.

Le Marchand, who has hosted the program since 2010, remains deeply connected to the show and its participants, often acting as a confidante to the farmers. In recent interviews, she expressed her commitment to the series, stating she would feel as though she were ‘abandoning the farmers’ if she were to leave.

Le Marchand also discussed her professional history and personal friendships, noting that television personality Estelle Denis was instrumental in convincing her to return to the M6 network after her time at France Télévisions. She also reflected on her long-standing friendship with Véronika Loubry.
