Karitsa to host 21st Farmer and Livestock Festival

The 21st Farmer and Livestock Festival, known as ‘Kritsmas’, is scheduled to take place on September 26 and 27, 2026, at the municipal stadium in Karitsa. The event is a joint initiative by the Municipality of Dion-Olympus, the Regional Unit of Pieria, and the Pieria Chamber of Commerce.

The festival features an exhibition of agricultural products and technology, opening at 6:00 PM on both days. Participants include various agricultural cooperatives, producers, merchants, and professional associations, such as the Pieria Beekeeping Association and chestnut producers from Skotina.

Cultural activities will accompany the exhibition, including traditional dance performances, culinary demonstrations by the ‘Cooking with Clio’ team, and live music performances by Panagiotis Bora and Nikos Patri. Admission to the event is free.
