Karla Groizard debuts with romance novel Luces, Cámara y amor

Film producer Karla Groizard has made her literary debut with the release of the novel ‘Luces, Cámara y amor’. The contemporary romance story integrates the world of filmmaking with a plot set against the backdrop of Koh Samui, Thailand.

The narrative follows Beatriz, an art director traveling to Thailand for professional reasons, and her evolving relationship with Kai Moreau, a prominent actor and musician involved in the production. Groizard, who has worked in the audiovisual sector since 2012, incorporated authentic filmmaking processes and dynamics into the fictional work.

Although the book draws on Groizard’s personal experiences and professional background, she emphasized that the story is entirely fictional. The writing process began in April 2025 and took approximately one year to complete.
