Karlo Muhar enters FCSB radar after terminating CFR Cluj contract
Croatian midfielder Karlo Muhar has unilaterally terminated his contract with CFR Cluj following unpaid wages spanning more than three months. Muhar stated that the decision was necessary to protect his rights and support his family after the club failed to meet its contractual obligations. He intends to seek 300,000 euros in owed compensation through FIFA.
Following his departure, FCSB owner Gigi Becali has expressed interest in signing the 30-year-old midfielder. However, the transfer faces significant hurdles. Mihai Stoica, FCSB's Board President, has reportedly opposed the move, citing concerns over Muhar's current form and the club's existing surplus of central midfielders. Additionally, there are disagreements regarding Muhar's salary demands. While Muhar remains open to new opportunities, he is also reportedly attracting interest from clubs in Greece and Poland.
