Vémola has stated his desire for joint custody, rejecting a proposal for visitation only every other weekend. He emphasized that while financial matters are being discussed, his primary priority is spending as much time as possible with his children.

In addition to these domestic issues, Vémola announced on social media the death of his dog, Beasty Boy. The pet was a long-time companion frequently featured in the fighter's social media content.
