Karlova Studánka launches spa cinema as Banská Bystrica rolls out new film premieres

The Karlova Studánka spa in the Czech Republic has converted the historic Music Hall into a weekly cinema. The first screening, the Czech film *Někdo to rád*, is scheduled for Tuesday, 28 July at 19:30 with an entry fee of 80 CZK. Spa director Irena Vašicová and IT specialist Josef Seifert are overseeing the project, with Seifert handling projection duties. The venue plans to relocate to Libuše after the autumn season due to limited thermal insulation.

In Banská Bystrica, Slovakia, cinema CINEMAX is presenting a series of new releases. Highlights include the Czech family comedy *Dovolenka v raji* (premiering 30 July), the Japanese anime *Umamusume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era*, the animated film *Labková patrola: Dinosaurí film*, the French fantasy drama *Volanie vody*, and the sports drama *Bojovník* (Friends movie night). The programme features family‑focused events, giveaways and ticket contests, with online booking available.
