Karlovac hosts 39th annual Beer Days festival
The 39th edition of Dani piva (Beer Days) has commenced in Karlovac, marking Croatia’s longest-running beer and gastronomy festival. The five-day event, which runs until September 1, features a wide array of musical performances, workshops, and traditional activities such as the beer fountain and brewery open days.
Local officials highlighted the festival's role in promoting continental tourism. Mayor Damir Mandić noted the importance of the partnership with Heineken Croatia, stating that the brewery is a defining element of the city's identity. County Prefect Martina Furdek Hajdin emphasized that the event reinforces Karlovac County's position as a leader in continental tourism.
The musical lineup includes Severina, who headlined the opening night, along with scheduled performances by Petar Grašo, Indira, and various other artists across genres ranging from pop and rock to trap and alt-pop.
