Karlovac hosts sports festival finale and water polo training

The Karlovac Sports Recreation Festival is concluding its summer season with a “Disco na rolama” event scheduled for September 5 at the Sokolski dom playground. The festival, organized by the Karlovac Association of Sports Recreation, featured various activities throughout the summer, including tennis, trail running, bowling, and water polo.

In related sports news, the water polo club Mladost Zagreb held a demonstration training session and an exhibition match in the Korana River at Foginovo kupalište. The visit aimed to support the local Vaterpolo klub Karlovac. While Mladost Zagreb players expressed optimism for the upcoming season and their goal to defend domestic titles, local representatives highlighted the lack of adequate training facilities for competitive water polo in Karlovac.
