Karlovačka County opens scholarship applications for students

Karlovačka County in Croatia has opened a public call for student scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year. The application period runs from October 15 to October 29.

A total of 75 successful candidates will receive 150 euros per month. The scholarships are distributed based on three criteria: social status (20 scholarships), talent (20 scholarships), and deficit occupations (35 scholarships). Deficit fields include engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, nursing, and medical-laboratory diagnostics, alongside various university studies such as medicine, psychology, and informatics.

To be eligible, applicants must be regular students at public state educational institutions in Croatia, hold Croatian citizenship, reside in Karlovačka County, and be no older than 27 years of age. Applications must be submitted via the SOM application.
