Karlovy Vary hosts JazzFest and Vary září light festival

Karlovy Vary is hosting two major cultural events this autumn. The 43rd edition of JazzFest Karlovy Vary runs from September 11 to October 17, featuring a diverse program of domestic and international musicians. The festival's highlight will be a performance by the Mike Stern Band on October 17 at the Imperial Spa. The program also commemorates the centennials of jazz legends Miles Davis and John Coltrane.

Additionally, the Vary září festival will take place on September 11 and 12. Centered around the theme of Karlovy Vary heritage, the event celebrates the fifth anniversary of the Karlovy Vary Spa Triangle's UNESCO listing. The festival features ten light installations across the city, including an immersive audiovisual show at the Thermal Hotel that utilizes interior light drones, dancers, and projections.
