Karls Erlebnis-Dorf opens new theme park in Oberhausen

Karls Erlebnis-Dorf has opened its eighth location in Oberhausen, marking the chain’s first expansion into North Rhine-Westphalia and its first site situated within a major city. Located directly at the Centro, the theme park combines traditional farm-style elements with various rides and attractions.

Unlike previous locations in northern and eastern Germany, this site integrates a leisure park, farm shop, and craft business under one roof. The company is also pursuing international expansion, with demolition work already underway for a new location in Oxnard, California. The Oberhausen site features a manufacturing market decorated with a massive collection of antique coffee pots.
