Karls Erlebnis-Dorf roller coaster evacuated in Döbeln

A new roller coaster at the Karls Erlebnis-Dorf amusement park in Döbeln, Germany, required an emergency evacuation after it stalled at a height of approximately 25 meters. The incident occurred last weekend during a midday ride.

The operator confirmed that the ride stopped unexpectedly near its highest point. The shutdown was triggered by the system's safety technology, which detected an irregularity in the control of the booster wheelset used to propel the train upward. Twenty passengers had to be evacuated from the ride.
