Karlsruhe ice cream parlors named among Germany's best for 2026

The Gelatissimo ice cream fair in Stuttgart has named the 100 best ice cream parlors in Germany for 2026. Several establishments from the Karlsruhe region have secured spots on this list.

Among the recognized local businesses is Eis Cassata in Karlsruhe's Oststadt. Following the departure of long-time owner Pino Cimino, his brother Giuseppe Cimino took over the business for the new season. The shop is known for unique flavors such as ‘Klopapier-Eis’ and ‘Karlsruher-Asphalt’.

Also featured is Eis Cristallo in Graben-Neudorf, operated by Alessandro Toscani. The business maintains an Italian tradition dating back to 1882 and specializes in homemade ice cream and ice cakes.
