Karlsruhe region ice cream parlors named among Germany's best for 2026

The Gelatissimo ice cream fair in Stuttgart has selected the 100 best ice cream parlors in Germany for 2026. Several establishments from the Karlsruhe region and surrounding areas were included in the ranking.

Among the recognized locations is Eis Cassata in Karlsruhe, which recently underwent a leadership change as Giuseppe Cimino took over the business from his brother, Pino Cimino. The shop is known for unique flavors such as ‘Klopapier-Eis’ and ‘Karlsruher-Asphalt’.

Also featured is Eis Cristallo in Graben-Neudorf, operated by Alessandro Toscani. The business follows an Italian tradition dating back to 1882 and specializes in homemade ice cream and ice cakes.
