Karlsruher SC forms provisional leadership group under new coach Maximilian Senft

Karlsruher SC has named a temporary Leadership Group at the start of pre‑season training, announced by the club’s new head coach Maximilian Senft. The group is expected to include the existing captain Marvin Wanitzek, who will remain in that role, as well as the current vice‑captains Marcel Franke and Sebastian Jung. There is speculation that goalkeeper Hans Christian Bernat may also be added to the player council. The final composition and whether the council will be elected or appointed will be decided in the last week before the upcoming match in Bielefeld.

Senft said he wants to observe the squad fully before making permanent appointments, emphasizing that the leadership structure will be communicated after the preparation period.
