2026/27 German football season schedule unveiled across clubs

German clubs have released their fixtures and related details for the 2026/27 season. Karlsruher SC (KSC) will open at home against Bielefeld on 8 August, followed by a derby with Kaiserslautern on 15 August and a match against Wolfsburg on 29 August. Coach Maximilian Senft later highlighted positives after a 0‑3 loss to Hoffenheim, praising goalkeeper Hans Christian Bernat and substitute Lilian Egloff.

FC St. Pauli’s season starts on the first Sunday with a home game versus Greuther Fürth, while the club announced new signing Rony Jansson and updates to its ticket terms. 1. FC Kaiserslautern previewed a campaign aiming for promotion, noting a sixth‑place finish last season and retaining coach Torsten Lieberknecht.

SC Freiburg will face Crystal Palace in a pre‑season friendly on 15 August at the Europa‑Park Stadion, with no confirmed TV broadcast in Germany; the match may be streamed via Palace TV+ for paying members.

The Kreisliga A2 schedule for the 2026/27 season was also published, detailing opening fixtures for clubs such as Concordia Flaesheim and TuS Sythen.

In the DFB‑Pokal, MSV Duisburg host SV Elversberg on 22 August, with live coverage limited to Sky’s subscription service. Meanwhile, 1. FC Köln’s first‑round cup tie against Würzburger Kick­ers on 24 August will be shown free‑to‑air on RTL following Sky’s recent rights acquisition.
