Karlsruhe's Scriptor Family Distillery Announces Closure After 11 Years

The family‑run Scriptor distillery in Bulach, a district of Karlsruhe, will cease operations after more than a decade of producing regional whisky, gin and liqueurs. Owners Michael Schreiber and his daughter Judith Schreiber announced the shutdown on the brand’s Instagram, stating that production will continue only until the end of the year and that tastings are scheduled through March 2027. The distillery will no longer sell vouchers, but will offer its 20‑ to 50‑liter barrels for purchase.
