Karmelo Anthony convicted for Texas track‑meet stabbing; body‑cam footage and evidence released

Karmelo Anthony, 19, was found guilty of first‑degree murder for the April 2 2025 stabbing of 17‑year‑old Austin Metcalf at a high‑school track meet in Frisco, Texas. A Collin County jury sentenced him to 35 years in prison after rejecting his self‑defense claim.

Following the trial, the court released body‑camera and surveillance video showing Anthony being handcuffed and repeatedly stating, “I’m not alleged, I did it,” while crying.
