Karnataka and Israel partner to strengthen cybersecurity collaboration

The Government of Karnataka and the Consulate General of Israel in Bengaluru convened the Karnataka-Israel Cyber Dialogue 2026 to deepen collaboration in cybersecurity innovation, research, and digital resilience. Organized under the theme ‘Stronger Together. Secure Tomorrow.’, the event was part of Karnataka’s Global Innovation Alliance and held in coordination with the Centre for Cybersecurity Karnataka (CySecK).

The dialogue involved a delegation of 10 Israeli cybersecurity companies that participated in technology demonstrations and business-to-business meetings with local startups and firms. Discussions centered on four primary pillars: innovation and startups, industry partnerships, talent and skills, and policy and trust. The initiative aims to translate knowledge exchange into practical partnerships to protect critical digital infrastructure, businesses, and public institutions.

N Manjula, Secretary of the Department of Electronics, IT and BT for the Government of Karnataka, stated that cybersecurity has evolved into an economic imperative and a governance priority essential for building trust in a digital future.
