Karnataka Biofuel Board seeks technological cooperation with China

The Karnataka State Biofuel Development Board (KSBDB) is exploring technological exchanges and research collaborations with China to advance the state’s green economy. During a meeting in Bengaluru, KSBDB Chairman S E Sudheendra met with Xu Feihang, the Chinese Ambassador to India, to discuss boosting the production of ethanol and biodiesel.

Chairman Sudheendra highlighted Karnataka’s potential to utilize agricultural waste and biomass resources for sustainable energy. Ambassador Xu Feihang expressed support for these initiatives, offering assurances of technical assistance, knowledge exchange, and cooperation on eco-friendly energy projects. This dialogue follows similar discussions held by the Board with organizations from Japan and Bulgaria.
