Karnataka CM coordinates Cabinet portfolio allocations

Karnataka Chief Minister DK Shivakumar is working with the Congress high command to finalize Cabinet portfolio allocations for newly inducted ministers. The deliberations involve senior party leaders, including AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and General Secretary KC Venugopal.

Discussions include the potential induction of a woman member into the Cabinet and a minor reshuffle to address concerns among certain legislators. The process is expected to conclude before the Monsoon Session of the Karnataka Legislature begins on August 13. Shivakumar has already submitted a list of proposed portfolios for approval.
